15 Date Ideas for the Busy Professional

Dating can be so time-consuming. There is the initial “getting to know you” phase via text and phone then comes the dreaded first date. If you make it past that point it can be challenging to find time to schedule a date when you are a successful woman on the go.

I believe that women should have it all- a successful career and the forever babe. So I’ve put together a list of 15 date ideas that won’t consume all of your precious free time. There has to be some time left over for self-care right?!

Here you go:

1. Go on a hike.
Why not combine your exercise time with a date?!

2. Schedule a dinner date for after work.
If you are anything like me, I hate going home at the end of the day to come back out again. So, grab an early dinner and then go home to relax for the rest of the evening.

3. Schedule a Facetime or Skype date.
Who says a great date has to include leaving your house or being in the same place?!

4. Attend a matinee.
It’s a cost-effective date option and it gives you the rest of the day to do other things.

5. Meet for lunch during your workday.
I mean food + cute guy, do I need to say more? Sounds like a great “pick me up”  in the middle of the day.

6. Go to your favorite local coffee shop.
Are you the type that likes to work remotely?! Take a break and have coffee (or tea) with that guy you have been dying to meet.

7. Meet for a glass of wine and live music.
Wine + music = a relaxing way to end the day.

8. Go for a walk in the park.
Great for intimate conversation.

9. Go to a festival.
Festivals are an excellent way to connect around a common interest such as beer or music. Also, gives you an opportunity to unwind after a busy workweek.

10. Have a Game Night x2.
For each game night, you each should select your favorite board game to play.

11. Meet up for dessert.
Save time. Skip dinner and go straight for the dessert.

12. Visit a museum or even better a popup interactive museum.
Museum visits provide you with the opportunity to soak up some culture and spend quality time together.  

13. Take a bike ride.
Get out and see the city on your bike plus get your exercise in for the day.

14. Volunteer together.
Give back to the local community and spend time with each other.

15. Go Ice Skating or Roller Skating.
Live a little! Go have fun.
